EZgel: The Most Effective Regenerative Treatment for a Radiant, Youthful Glow

Frequently Asked Questions

Does EZgel require any special preparation?

No. The only requirement is that you provide a small sample of your own blood, from which we create the EZgel product. We recommend stopping Advil a week prior to the treatment to make sure we obtain the highest amount of growth factors.

How is EZgel prepared?

At our facility, a small blood sample is drawn from your arm, and processed in our FDA- Approved, slowly rotating centrifugation system (to make sure we maintain a maximal amount of white blood cells and fibrin) where we separate the PRF from the other components. At the meantime, part of the plasma (the Albumin) undergoes a heating process to coagulate and turn into a gel. We then mix the PRF with coagulated albumin (a protein found in whole blood) to form a gel-like product, loaded with growth factors, that is ready to be injected.

Is it only used for sunken under eye hollows?

No, EZgel can be used to fill in other thinned areas of the face, such as deep wrinkles, lips, cheeks, chin, jowls, marionette lines, temples, nasolabial folds, chisling your jawline etc. However, the best results are seen when it is used for under-eye hollows.

How long do the effects of EZgel last?

The effects last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on the individual.

Is it better than collagen stimulators (such as Sculptra) or regular HA fillers (Juvederm/Restylane)?

Each of these products has its own Pros, and Cons:
Sculptra works by inducing collagen production, which is amazing, however it takes months to start working and cannot be injected in highly movable areas such as the lips. (Can cause nodules).
The same goes for HA fillers, they are ready to inject and can rarely cause a reaction, however, it does not improve skin texture, and is a high risk of clogging your facial lymphatics if injected in the under-eye area.

EZgel however is 100% natural, very safe (you cannot get a reaction to your own blood), works as a filler (immediate improvement), and stimulates rejuvenation and collagen production. Unlike collagen stimulators and HA fillers, it is an all-natural solution that uses your own body’s healing properties to rejuvenate the area. It not only fills in thinned areas of your face but also helps improve skin texture and tone.

Do I need to repeat EZgel treatments?

It is recommended that you come back for maintenance treatments every 6-12 months in order to maintain your results over time.

Are there any side effects?

No, there are no known side effects associated with EZgel. The all-natural ingredients used in the procedure come from your own blood, and there is no risk of an allergic reaction or other negative reactions. You can expect some minor redness and swelling around the treated areas post injection but this should subside within a couple of hours.

Are there any risks associated with this treatment?

EZgel has no known side effects and is considered one of the safest treatments available today for facial rejuvenation and skin regeneration. However, as with any medical procedure, it’s important to discuss all possible concerns with your doctor before having the treatment done.

What can I expect after my EZgel treatment?

You should start noticing results immediately after the procedure, as the gel acts as a filler. You will then start to notice a progressive improvement of your skin texture. However, it is important to note that results vary from person to person and can take up to 3-6 months for full effect.

How long does the EZgel last?

Most patients report seeing results that can last anywhere from 1-2 years. However, results vary depending on each individual and their lifestyle habits such as sun exposure, diet, and skincare routine.

Is EZgel safe for all skin types?

Yes. EZgel is safe and suitable for all skin types. Your doctor can help you determine if it’s the right treatment for you based on your specific needs.

Is there any maintenance required?

Not necessarily. However, to ensure optimal and long-lasting results, it is recommended that you maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating a balanced diet, exercising regularly, and protecting your skin from the sun using SPF products.

Are there any other treatments that can be combined with EZgel?

Yes. Depending on your specific needs, Dr. Ibrahim may suggest combining EZgel with other treatments such as PDO Threads, Collagen stimulators (Sculptra) microneedling, or laser treatments to achieve optimal results.

How much does EZgel cost?

A: The cost of the treatment depends on your individual needs as well as the size and area of the injection site. However, it ranges from $1200-$1800.

Is there financing available?

Yes, we offer financing options including Care Credit at our office to help make the treatment more affordable. Feel free to contact us to learn more about our payment plans.
